"Prodigo" (Prodigal t.n.) is the name of wine that I produce and symbolize my history, malbec and Argentina at the same time. It symbolizes my history if compare to my family and its long tradition on producing fine wines in Italy. Certainly malbec is a risk: a variety of grape for red wines still unknown to massive market but of very great potential. Finally the challenge which Argentina represents on producing distinguished wines for international quality wine market.
This wine is made with grapes carefully hand-picked from our selection of vineyards. Once the maceration of grapes is accomplished at the right temperature the wine is passed to small French oak barrels where, after aging for six to fifteen months, it achieves perfection supporting a delicate scent of cherry and plum. A sampling testifies to its varietal charm, fine texture, good complexity, and a long pleasant finish.
